Police arrested 32-year-old Taijh Flash after responding to reports of an attempted robbery at the Marco’s Pizza location in Toledo. Investigators said Flash allegedly entered the store and threatened employees with a knife shaped like a firearm, demanding money before fleeing the scene.
Officers apprehended Flash shortly afterward. No injuries were reported during the incident.
Flash has been charged with aggravated robbery and remains held in the Lucas County Jail on a $100,000 bond, according to court records.
Authorities described the weapon as a “hybrid-style blade” fashioned to look like a handgun. Police are continuing to review surveillance footage and witness statements as part of the investigation.
Court appearances for Flash have not yet been scheduled.
