Statewide News. Unfiltered. Unified.
NewsForce247.com is Ohio’s statewide digital newsroom — an independent news outlet based in Marion, Ohio, covering all 88 counties around the clock. Most news outlets cover a city. We cover a state: five regional desks, the Statehouse, Ohio sports, and the weather that shapes Ohio mornings — publishing new stories every hour, day and night.
What We Cover
- Regional news — Central, Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, and Southwest Ohio, reported county by county.
- State & Government — the Statehouse, state agencies, and the decisions that reach every Ohio hometown.
- Sports — Ohio sports at every level, from the pros to Friday nights.
- Statewide Weather — forecasts and severe-weather coverage for the whole state, not just the metros.
- School Closings & Delays — every winter, Ohio’s statewide board for district closings and delays, built for parents, students, and school staff on weather mornings.
A Newsroom That Never Closes
News doesn’t keep office hours, and neither do we. Fresh stories publish every hour — more than 25 a day — written for how Ohio reads now: fast, mobile, and statewide. Every story is verified before it publishes, and when we get something wrong, we correct the record. That’s the standard, on every story, at every hour.
