In a social media post, the restaurant said the fire left it unable to open for business Sunday. “We will keep you posted as to when we are able to reopen,” the post said.

Fricker’s is a Dayton-area chicken-wing chain with locations across southwest Ohio, and the Huber Heights restaurant is a fixture for local diners. The extent of the damage to the building had not been disclosed as of early Monday, and the cause of the fire was under investigation. Restaurant officials were expected to announce a reopening date once repairs are complete.
