Court records show that Todd Marrs faces charges of abduction and disrupting public services in connection with the December 19, 2025, incident.
According to court documents, Marrs visited Performance Luxury, located at 750 Colemans Crossing Blvd. in Marysville, and asked to test drive a Jeep Wrangler with a sales associate. During the drive, the associate noticed Marrs had taken an unusual route. They eventually stopped at a warehouse parking lot near railroad tracks, where they remained for several minutes.
When the associate asked to return to the dealership, Marrs allegedly told her, “No, now you’ll sit there and wait like a good girl.” The documents state the employee quietly shared her phone’s location with coworkers and texted for help. She also attempted to call the dealership, but Marrs allegedly took her phone and threw it onto the floorboard.
Investigators say Marrs then drove to a local hospital in Marysville to pick up a friend, refusing to return the associate until he completed his errands. Both Marrs’s friend and the dealership employee were eventually dropped back off at Performance Luxury.
Marrs was later arrested and arraigned in the Union County Court of Common Pleas, where his bond was set at $250,000.
