COLUMBUS — Breeze Airways will launch a new year-round nonstop route between Columbus and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on May 28, 2027, the airline announced Oct. 13.
The route will operate on Mondays and Fridays, with one-way fares starting at $59, according to the airline. Columbus already has a nonstop option to Myrtle Beach on Southwest Airlines, but that service runs only seasonally, making the Breeze flights the first year-round choice on the route.
The announcement marks the 13th new flight the Columbus Regional Airport Authority has announced in 2026. The authority operates John Glenn Columbus International Airport and Rickenbacker International Airport, along with Bolton Field.
Together, the Columbus airports now offer more than 55 nonstop destinations, giving central Ohio travelers a growing list of direct options for business and leisure trips.
Myrtle Beach is one of the most popular vacation destinations for Ohio families, known for its Atlantic coastline, golf courses and family attractions. A year-round Monday-and-Friday schedule is aimed squarely at long-weekend travel, letting passengers fly out for a beach weekend without a connection.
Tickets for the new route are available through Breeze Airways. Travelers should check the airline’s schedule closer to the May launch date for departure times, which had not been detailed in the initial announcement.
