CHILLICOTHE — All State Fastener has opened a new distribution center on Douglas Avenue in Chillicothe, a move the family-owned company says significantly expands the infrastructure it uses to serve heavy truck manufacturers and their supplier networks across North America.

The company announced the grand opening on Wednesday, Oct. 14, a day after co-owners Nick and Paula Giorgio cut the ribbon alongside Chillicothe city officials and more than 40 employees. The facility at 360 Douglas Avenue replaces the company’s previous Chillicothe operation, located less than ten miles away, and is already fully operational.

The new center holds tens of millions of dollars in inventory and gives All State Fastener added room for the work that surrounds modern parts distribution: kitting and assembly, sequencing, vendor-managed inventory programs, cross-docking and quality inspection. Company leaders said the site is designed to handle a wider range of Class C and tiered components, not just the fasteners the company was founded on.

The Chillicothe operation supports more than 40 employees, including a significant number of new hires. The company said the expansion roughly doubles its employment headcount in the Chillicothe area, adding warehouse and operations jobs in Ross County at a time when the region continues to compete for manufacturing-linked investment.

All State Fastener, known as ASF, is a global distributor of standard and engineered fasteners and related production components. Founded in 1963 and headquartered in Roseville, Michigan, the company has been owned and operated by the Giorgio family since its founding, and the family acquired the Douglas Avenue building in a private transaction.

The Chillicothe opening anchors a broader expansion of the company’s North American distribution network during 2026. In recent months ASF has also added operations in Renton, Washington; Ste. Therese, Quebec; and Mexicali, Mexico, together adding more than 100,000 square feet of distribution capacity and putting inventory closer to customers in key manufacturing markets.

Company executives said more growth is ahead, with additional facilities targeted in Mexico and the northeastern United States in 2027, along with a continuing search for acquisitions of established fastener and component distributors. For Chillicothe, the immediate impact is simpler: a larger, fully staffed distribution hub on Douglas Avenue, built to keep heavy truck production lines supplied and moving.
