SYLVANIA TOWNSHIP — Tickets are now on sale for the 2027 Greater Toledo Home Giveaway, the raffle that offers a newly built three-bedroom home in Sylvania Township while raising money for children receiving care in northwest Ohio.
Tickets cost $100 each, are sold online, and are nonrefundable. Each ticket is one chance to win the home, which Mavillino Custom Homes is building with design work from Arch Design, blending commercial architectural touches into a residential build.
The net proceeds from ticket sales will go to families in need of care at the ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital in Toledo and to new programs benefiting children across the greater Toledo community. A portion of the proceeds will also go to the Savage & Associates Foundation to support its local work.
Organizers point to past giveaways as proof the raffle does more than award a house. Proceeds from earlier drawings helped fund a new neonatal intensive care transport isolette, equipment used to keep the hospital’s smallest patients safe and secure when they need to be moved.
The giveaway drawing is scheduled to take place in 2027. Anyone considering a ticket can review the official rules, ticket details and sponsorship information on the giveaway’s website before buying.
For the children’s hospital, the home is a centerpiece of its ongoing capital campaign — and, for one ticket buyer, it will become home.
