May is a month filled with meaningful celebrations at Presidential Post Acute. We begin by recognizing National Nurse’s Week, May 6–12, a special time to honor our dedicated nursing staff who care for our residents with unwavering kindness, compassion, and clinical excellence. Nurses work tirelessly to ensure that residents’ needs are met clinically and emotionally. We proudly salute each and every one of them.
Next, we look forward to celebrating Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 10. Our “Muffins with Moms” gathering offers residents and staff a heartfelt opportunity to honor the mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who shape our lives in countless ways. Moms touch us in so many different ways and we hope they know how much we appreciate them.
We then continue the festivities with National Nursing Home Week, May 11–16. This special week allows us to showcase the spirit, joy, and community that define the Presidential Post Acute family. With a Totally Rad 80’s theme—complete with a murder mystery and karaoke party—there will truly be something for everyone to enjoy.
Finally, as May comes to a close, we pause to honor Memorial Day on May 25. We remember with deep gratitude the brave individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Presidential Post Acute is privileged to be part of the story of many local veterans, and we respectfully salute each of them.
