The new pavilion, located on Cleveland Clinic’s main campus, is designed to enhance patient care and support cutting-edge eye research. Featuring advanced surgical suites, dedicated research laboratories, and expanded clinical areas, the facility aims to improve access to vision resources and strengthen collaborations among specialists and scientists.
Hospital leaders emphasized that the expansion underscores Cleveland Clinic’s commitment to innovation and excellence in eye care. The space will allow for more efficient patient flow, accommodate new technologies in diagnostics and treatment, and provide a more welcoming experience for patients and families.
The dedication ceremony celebrated both the generosity of Jeffrey and Patricia Cole and the vision of the Cole Eye Institute’s team. The new pavilion complements ongoing renovations of existing facilities, positioning the Institute for continued leadership in the treatment and prevention of eye diseases.
The Cole Eye Institute, widely recognized for its expertise in retinal disorders, cataract surgery, and corneal disease research, now enters a new chapter with expanded capacity to serve patients locally and globally.
