TOLEDO — MH Equipment has combined operations with Bohl Equipment in a move that expands the material-handling dealer’s service network across northwest Ohio and northeast Indiana, adding Bohl’s Toledo and Marion locations to a regional network of more than 30 sites.
The combination, effective Oct. 1, 2026, brings in three Bohl Equipment locations in all — Toledo and Marion in Ohio and Fort Wayne, Indiana. Both companies are authorized dealers for Hyster and Yale equipment and have longstanding relationships with industrial and commercial customers who rely on them for forklift sales, rentals, maintenance and repair work.
MH Equipment chief executive Coit Edison said the company welcomed the Bohl Equipment team and recognized its longstanding reputation for customer service and technical expertise. He said the partnership was built on shared values and mutual respect, with a focus on maintaining service quality across the region as the two operations come together.
Doug Bohl, a co-owner of Bohl Equipment, said the family business had been built over generations through employee commitment and strong customer relationships. He said the decision to combine operations was driven by the need for long-term stability, additional resources and new opportunities for employees, and that the companies’ longstanding relationship and his confidence in MH Equipment’s leadership made the partnership a suitable fit.
For customers in northwest Ohio, the companies said nothing changes in day-to-day service. Local support will continue for forklift and material-handling equipment sales, rentals, planned maintenance, emergency repairs, parts, fleet management and warehouse productivity work. Existing customer operations, scheduled service appointments, sales relationships and support at the Toledo, Marion and Fort Wayne branches will continue without interruption, with local teams staying in place.
