TOLEDO — MH Equipment, one of the Midwest’s largest material-handling dealers, announced Monday, Oct. 12, that it will combine operations with Bohl Equipment, a northwest Ohio provider of forklifts and material-handling services.
The agreement took effect Oct. 1. Through the partnership, MH Equipment adds Bohl’s locations in Toledo and Marion, Ohio, along with Fort Wayne, Indiana, expanding its regional service network to more than 30 locations.
Both companies are authorized dealers for Hyster and Yale equipment, and both serve commercial and industrial customers with forklift sales, parts and service. Bohl’s employees, including its team of service technicians, will join the combined organization.
MH Equipment chief executive Coit Edison said the company was honored to welcome the Bohl team, praising the reputation Bohl has built over decades for customer care and technical work. He said the combination is built on shared values and is meant to continue that standard of service across the region.
Company leaders say pairing Bohl’s local experience with MH Equipment’s larger scale and resources should help customers keep equipment running longer, improve workplace safety and raise productivity. The combined operation will support businesses throughout northwest Ohio and northeast Indiana.
