JACKSON — A marijuana dispensary in Jackson has reopened after a state investigation into reports of “serious adverse health events” found no contaminated products.
The dispensary had been closed from Sept. 1 to Sept. 17 while the Ohio Division of Cannabis Control investigated two reports of serious adverse health events tied to a product obtained at the shop. After testing, regulators found no contaminated substances in the products and allowed the business to resume operations.

The case underscores how closely Ohio’s young cannabis market is being watched. Since Ohio voters legalized adult-use marijuana, the Division of Cannabis Control has moved to investigate complaints and pull questionable products when warranted.
For Jackson customers, the reopening restores local access to a licensed dispensary after more than two weeks of uncertainty.
