Project Scale and Design
The domed stadium, designed as a “Super Theater” for year-round events, will seat 67,500 to 75,000 fans and open for the 2029 NFL season. The $2.4 billion stadium is part of a larger $3.4 billion mixed-use development including residential units, a hotel, retail, and an entertainment district. Haslam Sports Group is committing over $2 billion in private investment, positioning it as Northeast Ohio’s largest economic initiative.
Economic Boost and Jobs
The project promises over 6,000 construction jobs annually during the three-year build, with at least 75% going to local workers, plus thousands of permanent positions. It forecasts $1.2 billion in annual direct economic output for Cuyahoga County and significant tax revenue for state and local governments. Brook Park Mayor Ed Orcutt hailed it as a partnership driving visitors and growth to the city.
