COLUMBUS, Ohio — Buckeye fans can officially start planning their spring pilgrimage to Ohio Stadium. Ohio State announced Thursday that tickets for the 2026 Spring Game — set for Saturday, April 12 — will go on sale Friday morning.
The annual intrasquad scrimmage, traditionally the first look at next season’s team, is expected to draw tens of thousands to “The Shoe.” The event gives fans an early chance to see new starters, early‑enrolling freshmen, and this year’s coaching adjustments following the Buckeyes’ 2025 campaign.
Ticket prices have yet to be announced, but in recent years, general admission seats have started at $10, with proceeds often benefiting Ohio State’s athletic scholarship fund. Fans can purchase tickets online through the university’s official athletics website or by phone through the OSU ticket office.
Gates typically open two hours before kickoff, with local vendors, tailgate areas, and youth activities adding to the spring‑football atmosphere.
The spring game serves as a key evaluation day for head coach Ryan Day and his staff as they assess position battles leading into summer workouts. It also marks the unofficial start of football season conversations throughout central Ohio, signaling that fall Saturdays in Columbus are not far away.
