CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Bengals elevated defensive backs Bralyn Lux and Russ Yeast from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Sunday’s Week 4 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars at Paycor Stadium.

Both moves are standard elevations, meaning Lux and Yeast will automatically revert to the practice squad on Monday. The additions come as the Bengals manage injuries in the secondary. The team placed defensive back Jalen Davis, who suffered a hamstring injury in the Week 3 loss to Pittsburgh, on injured reserve. Cornerback DJ Turner II was limited in practice this week with an ankle injury, safety Kyle Dugger has been ruled out with a quad injury, and safety Bryan Cook is questionable with an ankle injury.

Yeast is a former seventh-round pick of the Los Angeles Rams who has played in 32 NFL games over two seasons, also spending time with Carolina and Houston. His father, Craig Yeast, played receiver for the Bengals after being drafted by Cincinnati in 1999. Lux signed with the Bengals as a college free agent in May 2025 and has appeared in two games.

Also ruled out for Sunday are receiver Colbie Young with a knee injury and Dugger. Linebacker Swayze Bozeman (groin), guard Dalton Risner (knee), Cook and defensive tackle B.J. Hill (Achilles) are questionable. The Bengals (2-1) host the Jaguars (2-1) looking to bounce back from last week’s 30-27 loss at Pittsburgh.
