After a wet and stormy Friday, Ohio is in for a dry, sunny fall weekend with highs climbing into the upper 60s and low 70s.
In Columbus, Saturday brings sunshine with a high near 69 and a low around 47, with only a slight chance of rain. Sunday looks even nicer — mostly sunny with a high near 74 and a low near 47. Similar conditions are expected statewide, with crisp mornings and pleasant afternoons across central, northern and southern Ohio.
Friday’s rain gives way to clearing skies Friday night, setting up ideal conditions for Saturday’s outdoor plans, including high school football and the Ohio State game at Iowa. Sunrise is around 7:30 a.m. with sunset just after 7 p.m. as daylight continues to shrink.
Lows in the 40s mean a jacket for early-morning activities, but afternoon sunshine should make for comfortable fall weather through the weekend. No severe weather is expected anywhere in Ohio through Sunday night.
