MARION, Ohio — Police are investigating a shooting Sunday evening that prompted the closure of several blocks along Clinton Street, according to authorities.
Marion Police Chief Jay McDonald said officers remain on the scene as investigators work to determine what happened.
“Details are still being gathered, and the scene is still very much active,” McDonald said.
Police have not released information on possible suspects or injuries. As part of the investigation, Clinton Street is closed between Brown Avenue and Brookside Drive.
Residents are asked to avoid the area until further notice, officials said.
