The Superintendent said that Schools were closed for the day due to the incident rather than weather related.
“Good morning Upper Sandusky community. Early this morning a staff member received an anonymous bomb threat. Our law-enforcement partners were contacted immediately and our emergency plan was put into place. We take these types of situations very seriously, The safety of our students, staff and community is the priority. To make sure every building is safe the decision was made to close school so law-enforcement can check every single building to ensure that no danger exists. We are working closely with the Upper Sandusky Police Department as they investigate the incident. I appreciate your patience and support of our schools.
Eric Landversicht”
